Aid Your Immune System

Daily, we are faced by life threatening risks.  Take low white blood cells, for example. White blood cell count is important because it is closely tied to the immune system’s ability to ward off illness due to infection.  White cells are the front line soldiers of the body.  If there are less soldiers to guard against harmful foreign elements it is easier for these bad guys to enter the body. Not only are we concerned about how low our count is but also how long we have had this low count.

Because we are all for prevention, here are some tell tale signs that a person is suffering from low white blood cells:

~high temperature
~chills or the shakes
~sudden onset of a new unexplained pain or discomfort

The doctor should be contacted if these signs are present:

~sore throat
~sores in the mouth
~white coating in the mouth
~signs of bladder infection

Today people will do just about anything to remove toxins from their bodies. From juice fasts to colon therapy—people are tired of feeling the sluggishness and sickness that accompanies toxins built up in the system.  Chelation is another, less common way to remove toxins from the body.

Chelation therapy works by intravenously infusing the chemical disodium EDTA into the body. This chemical binds metallic ions in the body and allows them to be excreted. Some research has suggested that chelation dissolves the calcium in arterial plaque and reduces hardening of the arteries and other circulatory problems.

Too Many Or Too Few White Blood Cells?

heavy metal poisoning

White blood cell count plays an important role in the body’s immune system function. The white blood cells are usually accounted for in any blood assessment. A high white blood cell count may mean a patient has an infection, hyperslenism, a bone marrow disease or heavy metal poisoning.

A low white blood cell count could also indicate infection and can increase an individual’s likelihood of contracting an infection. A low white blood cell count may also mean that the body’s immune system has been compromised by a serious disease, a viral infection, alcoholism, drug use, hormone imbalances and anaphylactic shock.
